The Fiddler

My child,   Do you not know - you are My fiddle  and I AM the Fiddler?  Until you allow Me to play,  no melody can come from you, surely there is nothing wrong with you, you are a perfect, fine tuned instrument but without the true Master to bring forth the right sound, no one will ever hear  or see the beauty.

Understand that the fiddle can bring no sound from out of itself, but rest, waiting for the Fiddler to play at the right moment?

Again, I say you have NO responsibility to perform on your own, you just need to enter into My rest  and allow me  to bring forth  My melody of Love  from your life, yes,  I AM your Fiddler, I AM responsible for ALL of your life's melody, The high notes together with the low notes bring forth a perfect sound,  those false notes, you ask,  well that is when you doubt in Me, causing  the 'strings' of your life to become all uptight, stressed and straining against the flow of  the melody,  but even them, I make into part of the music, if only you will allow me, together as One,  showing you My Love by allowing you to Love.

Those touched by this melody of your life,  will be changed,  and will wonderingly  SEE  the Fiddler and His love for His precious fiddle, without whom He will not be able to play the very special  melody,
you call "My life".
Lovingly,
Your (Fiddler) Father

Romans 10:18 But I say, Have they not heard?  Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
1 Kings 18:41  And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.

5 FINGERS OF PRAYER

1. Your thumb is nearest to you. So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a "sweet duty."

2. The next finger is the pointing finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, doctors, and our church leaders. They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction. Keep them in your prayers.

3. The next finger is the tallest finger. It reminds us of our leaders. Pray for the president, leaders in business and industry, and administrators. These people shape our nation and guide public opinion. They need God's guidance.

4. The fourth finger is our ring finger. Surprising to many is the fact that this is our weakest finger; as any piano teacher will testify. It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in pain. They need your prayers day and night. You cannot pray too much for them.

5. And lastly comes our little finger; the smallest finger of all. Which is where we should place ourselves in relation to God and others. As the Bible says, "The least shall be the greatest among you." Your pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself. By the time you have
prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively.
Thanks Mary Jane for forwarding the above 2/20/03
